Home sales in the Knoxville area are up and prices are slowly on the rise.

There are currently 3,268 resale and new homes in Knoxville on Trulia, including 17 open houses, as well as 740 homes in the pre-foreclosure, auction, or bank-owned stages of the foreclosure process. The average listing price for homes for sale in Knoxville TN was $263,388 for the week ending May 05, which represents an increase of 0.2%, or $454, compared to the prior week.
